Blind Test Shampoo and Conditioner

I was chosen by Beauty Bulletin to go undercover in their blind shampoo and conditioner project and share my thoughts on the products with you.

I received a shampoo and conditioner that is unbranded, they are in a new packaging and the labels have been changed the only clue is that it contains shea butter which helps condition, soften and smooth the hair so it is perfect to use on all hair types.

Both the shampoo and conditioner has a beautiful tropical scent I can definitely get hints of pineapple and paw paw.

The formula of both the shampoo and conditioner is soft and light when applied to my hair. The shampoo has a milky white colour with shimmer (it looks quite pretty), it foams up quite nicely and gently cleanses my hair and scalp, only a small amount of the shampoo is needed. The conditioner has a soft light creamy texture and is white in colour it nicely conditions my hair making it feel soft and also manageable (easy to brush through while wet). The shampoo and conditioner does not weigh my hair down.

These products make my hair feel soft, light and fluffy and leaves a long lasting tropical scent on my hair.

I love using affordable, good quality hair care products but when I can I love to spoil myself with salon products. Before using these products I have been using a salon shampoo and conditioner. The quality of these products are good, I think that it is an affordable brand that can be purchased at drugstores such as Clicks and Dis-Chem for around R60-R80 each.
My guess on the brand is either TRESemmé, Garnier or Organics. Not knowing what the brand is excites me and I also can’t wait to find out what mystery brand this is and if any of my guesses are spot on.

The fruit in my flatlay are tropical fruits which I can smell in the products, the sea shells represent the tropical scent, the lipglosses have tropical fruits on the packaging and a delicious scent and also represent how my hair feels after using these products (soft, smooth and glossy). Lastly the products in my flatlay are only products which can be found at Dis-Chem and Clicks (Clicks ‘Oh So Heavenly’ brand lip balm and Essence Aquatix Shimmer Pearls which reminds me of tropical beaches and the shimmer in the shampoo).

Any guesses on what brand this is?

Keep an eye out on my social media pages and on the blog for the big reveal 😉.
