Dettol Eventone Pomegranate Hygiene Soap

Last week I was sent the new Dettol Eventone Pomegranate Hygiene Soap to use for 5 days and provide feedback with results after using the soap.

Firstly the packaging of the soap caught my eye it has the signature green and blue Dettol logo on it with brown and pink colours and a picture of pearls. I like the colour combination of the packaging it really stands out.

The Dettol Eventone Soap is specifically designed to protect skin against 99.9% of germs, with exfoliants, deep pore cleansing and added moisturising ingredients. It helps reduce the appearance of blemishes caused by oil, dirt and germs, leaving skin feeling revitalised and healthy. This is what makes the soap so appealing and different to others as it is always best to have one product which is multi-tasking and also has added benefits to it which is more convenient instead of having to use a lot of different products.

Dettol Even Tone Pomegranate soap contains crushed apricot shells which gently exfoliate the skin so not only does this product cleanse the body but also exfoliates, fights germs and gives you an even tone skin (I just had to reiterate that to emphasise the benefits of just one bar of soap ☺). The soap has a refreshing Pomegranate fragrance which smells amazing I couldn’t stop smelling it when I received it. It leaves the entire bathroom and my body smelling amazing after using it. The first day I used it Moe asked me what perfume I was wearing when I had not applied any that is how long lasting and how divine the scent is.

The 175g bar is pink in colour, has the Dettol logo engraved in it and has dark pink and brown granules which is so gentle on the skin my whole family at home is in love with this product mainly because of the scent, the exfoliating properties and how it gently cleanses the body. The soap foams up really well, it is long lasting, thoroughly cleans the body and is not too harsh on the skin.

I have used it for exactly 5 days on my body as I find that it would be too harsh on my face and to be honest I am yet to see results and my body, especially my legs has a lot of dark marks from all the itching and scratching during winter which has not lightened. I will however continue to use the product as I enjoy using it for the long lasting scent, it foams up nicely and leaves me feeling fresh and clean. I will see if there is any change with continued use and report back.
