Today is all about Eucerin Sun Care Product’s. It’s no secret that I have become a huge fan of Eucerin product’s it really is one of the best product’s to use on sensitive skin and much more affordable than most skincare product’s developed for sensitive and eczema prone skin. We recieved three Eucerin Sun Care Product’s which are: Eucerin Sun Lotion Extra-Light, Eucerin Sun Fluid Anti-Age and Eucerin Sun Creme Tinted CC ‘meduim’.
Before going into each of the product’s I would like to share some sun care tips with you:
1. It is advised not to stay too long in the sun even when using sunscreen
2. Apply sun protection product’s generously before sun exposure
3. Re-apply sun protection product’s frequently especially after swimming, perspiring or toweling
4. Avoid intensive midday sun from 11 a.m to 3 p.m
5. Avoid extensive sun exposure as even sun protection product’s with high SPF’s do not offer 100% protection
6. Keep babies and children out of direct sunlight (or else they’ll turn into gremlins😐 lol kidding).
7. Always be well covered with a sun hat, t-shirt and sunglasses
8. Eucerin sunscreens are suitable as sun protection after peeling or laser treatments
Eucerin sunscreen’s are very good for skin tolerability on sensitive skin and even suitable for use with atopic dermatitis. Each Eucerin sunscreen product contains antioxidant licorice extract which is proven to help protect skin cells in the deeper epidermal skin layers.
Eucerin Sun Lotion Extra-Light SPF 50+
The Eucerin Sun Lotion Extra-Light helps protect from sun-induced skin damage. It is non-sticky, water resistant and immediately absorbs into the skin which I absolutely love. It is very light and does not have a white finish, it dries on clear. This one is definetly going with me to Thailand. It retails for R199.99 for 150ml.
Eucerin Sun Fluid Anti-Age SPF 50
It’s is really important to always apply sunscreen on your face to protect it from sun induced skin damage and early signs of ageing, having a anti-ageing sunscreen is a bonus!
This sunscreen prevents the signs of photo ageing, provides intensive and long-lasting moisture, prevents and reduces fine lines and even deep wrinkles, supports skin’s own DNA protection and repair mechanism. It also contains hyaluronic acid to help reduce the appearance of existing wrinkles. It also helps protect against age spots, it is intensively moisturising, fast absorbing and has a matte finish. It feels very light on my skin, non-greasy, non-sticky and dries clear. It is non-comedogenic (doesn’t block pores), suitable for hot and humid climate conditions so this is perfect for my trip, it is also fragrance free. It comes in a pump bottle which makes it so easy to use. Retails for R219.99 for 50ml.
Eucerin Sun Creme Tinted CC SPF 50+ ‘medium’
I don’t know about you but I love tinted product’s I have been using the Eucerin Sun Creme tinted face sunscreen for a long time and absolutely love it.
I have never used a CC cream before so this product really got me excited. A CC cream is basically a Colour Control cream, or Colour Correcting cream which evens out the skin tone while a BB cream is like a lighter foundation with fewer skin care benefits. CC creams are much lighter on the skin than BB creams.
The CC cream that I recieved is a warm shade for medium to olive complexion. It provides an even natural looking skin tone which is perfect for when you don’t want to wear any make-up but want the benefits of a foundation. It is unperfumed, light in texture, has a long-lasting matte finish, non-comedogenic and paraben free.
It applies on very sheer with a slight tint, melts onto my skin and evening out my skin tone. This is definetly going with me to Thailand as I won’t be wearing any make-up but want a flawless look with protection against the sun it is really the perfect every day sunscreen. I like that the face sunscreens come in pump bottles so I can always get the right amount. This retails for R199.99 for 50ml.
You can see the difference in texture of all three product’s in the picture below. The Eucerin Sun Lotion Extra-Light has a much thinner texture which makes it absorb much quicker into the skin, the face sunscreens are a lot thicker in texture and more moisturising.
These are definitely my favourite suncreen product’s and already packed in my bag. Follow us on social media and experience Singapore and Thailand with us only a few more days left 😃.
