L.A Girl Strobelite Strobing Powder

When I first heard that the L.A Girl Strobelite Strobing Powder’s were coming to S.A. I was beyond excited I have become such a fan of L.A Girl Cosmetics they are super affordable (the latest product’s are a little pricey though) and of really great quality. I had first seen the L.A Girl Strobelite Strobing Powder’s on the U.S L.A Girl facebook page and saved the swatches and already had in mind which ones I wanted to get my hands on.

When I came across them in Dischem I swatched everyone of them and couldn’t decide which one’s I liked best they are all so glowy and beautiful! But I am currently banned from buying any make-up (Moe and my mum won’t allow me to buy make-up as Moe and I are soon going to Thailand and need to save up for that, happy and sad at the same time). Luckily for me I won three L.A Girl Strobelite Strobing Powder’s for best make-up look using only L.A Girl product’s YAY for me 😃. One of the strobing powder’s is the one that I was really loving when I had swatched all of them.

The L.A Girl Strobelite Strobing Powder’s are available in 12 shades..Seriously😮! So there’s a highlighter or more for every skin tone. Each highlighter has a different watt starting from 120 watts which is lighter in colour and more suitable for fair skin up to 10 watts which is darker for darker skin tones. The highlighter’s are paraben and fragrance free so I can use them on my very sensitive skin, they can be used alone or over make-up. The Strobelite Strobing Powder’s add glow to highlight cheeks, brighten eyes, sculpt nose and enhance pout for a more intense glow I suggest using the new L.A pro.conceal HD.high-definition concealer highlighter (white shade) first and apply the powder over.

They packaging is quite pretty and really eye-catching, they are all in big round pans with a round gold outline mirror finish ring, at the back it is engraved with ‘L.A Girl’, ‘love 👄’ and ‘inspiring beauty’. The pans contain a lot of product so you can go wild ☺.

I recieved 30 watt which is the one I have been wanting sooo bad out of all 12 highlighter’s. 30 watt is a pink rose gold colour which sparkles with different colours in the sun. I’m so obsessed with this highlighter I want to bath in it!

The next one is 60 watt it is yellow gold and really stands out. It’s very bright and glowy I would use this on a night out.

The third one is 70 watt which is a light pink and has silver shimmer I actually quite like this one it applies on almost white with silver shimmer and looks very glowy.

I used a light hand when applying these on. They all have such stunning glow, finishes and are very pigmented and also quite buildable. You can mix them up (one on the cheeks, a different one on the inner corner of eyes etc). I’m really loving the three that I have and plan on collecting all 12.

They retail for R149.00 and available at Dis-Chem Pharmacies, I think that it is reasonably priced for the amount of product each pan contains. See any one that you like?
