Kangol Bring On Summer

I don’t know about you ladies but during summer I like to look like a bronzed goddess cos why not 😉. I like to keep my make-up simple and bronzy during summer and luckily for me Kangol sent me the perfect products to create my bronze look. I recieved a beautiful trio cheek bronzer in ‘Sunkissed’, a pretty mauve ultra gloss in ‘Wispy Waves’ and the perfect nude nail varnish in ‘Sugary Sands’.

Cheek Bronze ‘Sunkissed’

This bronzer has three colours in one which can be used individually or mixed together. The first colour is a soft pink/peachy bronze which is shimmery, then there is a nude bronze shimmery colour and lastly a maroon/red colour.

Each colour can be used for different skin tones (light, meduim and dark) or can be mixed to your preferance. I was a little confused with the maroon/red colour as the other two shimmery colours look more like a bronzer and the red seems too dark to be a bronzer and could be used as a blush instead, but when I mixed all colours together with a blush brush and applied it to my cheeks it looked beautiful it gave my cheeks a rosey bronze look. I thought that the red might be a little to over powering but all the colours actually work well together. To get the all over bronzed look I mixed the two lighter shades and applied it all over my face.

What I like about this bronzer is that the shades work well for every skin tone and the three shades can be used individually, the maroon shade can be used as a blush, and the lighter shades can be used as a highlighter. You can really experiment with the bronzer and see what works for you.

Mauve Ultra Gloss ‘Wispy Waves

Mauve is definetly in this summer it is a pale lilac-brownish-pink-nude colour and also perfect for every skin tone. This gloss has a nice hazelnut scent and applies on sheer with a subtle mauve tint. I find this gloss very moisturising, not sticky and doesn’t bleed. The only problem I do have with it is that it tends to settle a little into my lip lines but it is really the perfect gloss for summer. With the warm weather I feel that it is time to move away from the mattes and rather opt for glosses.

Nude Nail Polish ‘Sugary Sands’

This shade is the perfect shade for every skin tone just like the other two products. The polish is a brown nude colour and comes with a small brush applicator for a more precise application and less clean up around the nails. I have not used this nail polish as yet as I’ve had gelish on but once I have removed my gelish I will definitely be using this nail polish and will post pictures up on the Facebook page so keep an eye for that.

My go to summer make-up colours are nudes, gold, soft peaches and pinks and lots of shimmer. These colours work so well together and looks great on all skin tones. Kangol also has a new body Glow all over bronzer which looks amazing I can not wait to get my hands on a tube and get my glow on😊. The bronze look works for everyone and for every occasion and really gives one a healthy look and glow. In this look I used my Kangol mascara which is really one of my favourite, it lengthens and separates my lashes perfectly you can read more about it in my Kangol Retro Glam post.
